Doug and Smudgie from Scheer Genius were at our school on Friday, January 26th.
The kids participated in the Diversity Circus Assembly which is "the character education show that teaches elementary students that we're different and the same!"
As always, our SDE students were kind, respectful and engaged throughout the entire show! Some of them were even on stage!!
We hope all the kids enjoyed it as much as the adults did! Click read more to see a few photos from the event!

The Holiday Shop was a HUGE SUCCESS! THANK YOU so much all the staff, volunteers and 5TH GRADE SHOPPING HELPERS that made it possible! THANK YOU also to the families and students for your participation. it was great to see all those sweet, smiling faces shopping for those they care about :)
The Holiday Gift Shop is an in school holiday store where students will be able to purchase their own gifts for family and friends!
The shop will run from December 13-15 during school hours. There will also be an opportunity to shop after school hours on Thursday, December 14 from 3:30pm-6:00pm.
More information will be sent home in the coming weeks.

CONGRATULATIONS & THANK YOU TO MRS. SOULLIER’S CLASS for having the highest increase in fundraising donations over the weekend! Our next goal is $20,000 by Friday and we can start planning PRINCIPAL HYNES “ELF ON STADIUM’S SHELF”. Can we do it?! GO DRAGONS!
